Sunday Prep Co
Meal prep delivery for people who hate meal prep
Submitted by Anonymous
What it was meant to be
Weekly delivery of pre-portioned ingredients and dead-simple recipes. Not meal kits (too much work) and not prepared meals (too expensive). The middle ground: everything measured, nothing cooked.
Where it stopped
Launched in our neighborhood. Had 25 weekly customers. Prepped and delivered every Sunday. Revenue was about $2,000/month. Had the logistics figured out. Profitable on paper.
Why it stopped
COVID hit in March 2020. Supply chain went crazy, ingredient costs doubled, customers cancelled because they were cooking at home anyway. We couldn't pivot fast enough. Closed down in April.
