What it was meant to be
Building a completely free meditation app with no upsells, ads, or premium features. Just guided sessions, ambient sounds, and a simple timer. Wanted to prove you could make wellness tools without predatory business models.
Where it stopped
Built the entire app. iOS and Android versions working. Had 50+ guided meditations recorded. Timer worked perfectly. UI was clean and simple. Just needed to submit to app stores and handle the launch.
Why it stopped
My day job got significantly more demanding right before launch. Working 60-hour weeks. The idea of managing customer support, fixing bugs, and maintaining two app versions became overwhelming. I had no energy left.
